Certified Nurse Midwife
Dena Moes is a Certified Nurse Midwife with over two decades of experience providing holistic, compassionate care to women across all stages of life. She offers empowering, individualized healthcare that honors the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of each patient.
At Santa Fe Ob/Gyn, Dena provides a wide range of services including annual exams, all available methods of contraception, and menopause management. She is known for her gentle presence and dedication to creating a safe space where patients feel supported and informed.
Dena holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Yale University, with a specialty in Nurse-Midwifery. She is passionate about reproductive justice, informed choice, and inclusive care. She knows that when patients are respected and listened to, their health outcomes and well-being improve.
Outside of the clinic, Dena enjoys writing, playing music, and exploring the natural beauty of Northern New Mexico. She has written two books: The Buddha Sat Right Here which is a memoir of living in India with her young family, and It’s Your Body, a guide to reproductive health for young women.
